Eye-catching Color Palettes For The Year

Here are some great color palettes for decor, clothes, branding…etc. I just love these colors so let’s get into it!

1. Earth Tones - greens, oranges, browns

These are any tones that you can find in nature. You can even add in blues as representation of the ocean. In this more natural palette you're going to want to keep things more understated. That means keeping the colors fairly neutral, not too bright or wild.

2. Fresh - yellow, orange, peach, turquoise, mint green

Keep this... FRESH! Think happy and bright colors! We want this palette to shine like the sun. You could really even compare some of these shades to the shades of the sun. So keep that in mind if you play around with this type of palette.

3. Dash of Purple - purples, browns, orange, off-white

This is one of my personal favourites, very close to the palette that I use on my own page! These colours give off a natural/neutral vibe with still having some pop of color. Specifically the dusty purple is my favourite in this palette and plays great with that rusty orange.

4. 70s Vintage - orange, greens, peach, blues (vibrant)

What a fun palette! I always love a good retro look, and who doesn't like those vibrant 70s colors. The second I saw this palette I got vibes. It really does portray a certain quirkiness that the others lack.

5. Moody - maroon, dark blue, browns, off-white, green

A mood all the way. This palette is great for a calming, deep, place to brood. Think soft, dark and velvety. This palette is perfect for making a tight and cozy space or set an introspective mood.

These palettes all range in diversity and personality. Some give off a darker and heavier feel, and others keep it light and bright. When picking a palette go for what your eye favors and then narrow down the selection by what matches your brand, style, room or personality best!
